ST52 Honed Tube Heat Treatment

Image
ST52 Honed Tube Heat Treatment ST52 Honed Tube as a product must have a certain performance to meet the needs of the usage conditions. The heat treatment of honed cylinder tube is a very important process. After heat treatment, it can get better performance. Then how to heat treat honing pipe? 1, its heat treatment processing process: forging annealing, rough machining, tempering, semi-finishing, stress reduction, rough grinding, high frequency quenching, tempering, finishing. Heat treatment methonds of ST52 Honed Tube 1, tempering : the purpose of tempering and tempering is to make it can have good comprehensive mechanical properties, because in order to make it can obtain higher toughness, corresponding strength and excellent mechanical properties, we generally need to conduct tempering and tempering treatment of st52 material. 2, stress elimination treatment: the so-called stress elimination treatment, honing pipe sale, in fact, refers to the stress removal. In general, ann

What Is Induction Hardening?

Image
Induction hardening is a type of surface hardening in which a metal part is induction-heated and then quenched. The quenched metal undergoes a martensitic transformation, increasing the hardness and brittleness of the part. Induction hardening is used to selectively harden areas of a part or assembly without affecting the properties of the part as a whole. Induction heating is a non contact heating process which uses the principle of electromagnetic induction to produce heat inside the surface layer of a work-piece. By placing a conductive material into a strong alternating magnetic field, electric current can be made to flow in the material thereby creating heat due to the I 2 R losses in the material. In magnetic materials, further heat is generated below the curie point due to hysteresis losses. The current generated flows predominantly in the surface layer, the depth of this layer being dictated by the frequency of the alternating field, the surface power density, the permeabili

Why do hydraulic cylinders start leaking?

Image
Why do hydraulic cylinders start leaking? Seals play a major role in hydraulic cylinders – they contain the fluid and prevent the leakage of fluid. The seals for a rod sealing system protect the reciprocating motion for the piston rod and gland.   Here are some types of seals you will normally find in a Hydraulic Cylinder: Piston seals — keeps oil on the work side of the piston. Prevents oil travel between cylinder sides. Rod seals — prevents any leakage from inside the cylinder to the outside. Buffer seals — absorb changes in pressure when working with high-load conditions. Normally found in front of the rod seal. Wiper seals — prevent any outside contaminants or debris from entering the cylinder system. Wear bands — guide the piston and rod . Also prevents metal to metal contact.   Listed below are some common reasons for seal failures: Hardening  — too much heat being generated from a high-speed application or environmental conditions surrounding the cylinder. Wear
